Each entry's user icon has a web 2.0 feel - here's a close up:

  • Perfectly centralized entries
  • Fluid layout that fits for any resolution
  • Userpics on the left BUT they do not get in the way of the entry posts

This is a hot lil' number. Very clean, very 'smooth' and very uncluttered.
This is very nice!!

I have a question though: I tried applying it on both IE and FF, but IE gives me a 'cannot display' screen, and FF just turns up blank. Is it user error on my part, or do you just not know if there's anything I can do to fix it?
I'm having the same problem.

Its a lovely layout, and I really want it for a community, but its not working. Help would be very nice. :)
I've been nabbing your SGA icons for adding to my pile of icons to nominated over at sg_awards and now I find that you are dabbling in LJ layouts and I love what I see. Web 2.0 is really quite pretty; I like how you've moved the icon out to the side. The layout is clean and attractive without being overly busy and distracting. Very nice. :)

I'm friending you because I don't want to miss out on your goodies. Thank you!
It is a very pretty layout. I've got one problem though, which I also had with your Aquatic Light layout. No matter what I do, little dots appear in the navigation list --> goldmull. They are wandering around, which does not only make them ugly but also eerie. ;) Any ideas how I can get rid of them? I double-checked but they appeared before I made any alteration.
Ohhh, shiny!!! :) I've grabbed it, but I have a couple of questions.

- How do I get my journal title to appear at the top of the front page?
- How do I get the title of each post to be in upper and lower case?
I've taken this and will use it sometimes in the future with credit of course. This is such a great idea btw. and a very unique layout.
Ooh, I really really love this! Saving to memories--will definitely credit when used. Thanks!
This is marvellous, but I've been having some trouble with it. . .

I have the CSS code uploaded here. I've double-checked and followed all of your instructions, but somehow, my layout now looks like this.

I'm very inexperienced with overrides and web design, so I can't begin to fathom where I've gone wrong. I had a suspicion it might be a browser issue, as mine needs updating, but the layout shows up fine on your icon community.

Sorry to bother, but help would be appreciated - I've gone through all the touble and would really like to be acle to use this; I'm just code-dense. ^_^;;
The link to your css codes is incorrect - I tried clicking on it but your css stylesheet is not there - you might want to double check the link :)
It's such a pretty layout, thank you!

I do have a question though, I'm using it for my journal right now, and there are these little dots around the navigation bar, any idea what that might be?
I'm using this layout for my comm and I had the exact same problem with little dots in my navigation bar. I got rid of them by altering the code a bit.

In the CSS sheet that you got from gossymer, you need to find the section for and add another line to the settings:

list-style: none;

The resulting section will look like this:

Save your file and reload the page for no more bullet points. :) Hope this helps!
love this:)

having a bit of problem trying to figure out the hostingthecssonanotherserver part, but will try to work things out when I'm back home! (got to rush off to school)

just wanted to say this is really beautiful. thanks so much for the clear instructions!:)
