Basically, DW is an LJ clone like InsaneJournal, JournalFen etc. However, it sets itself apart from the old ones by being more progressive (really incredible development going on) and in the long term intends to have a lot more bells and whistles than LJ has (especially when it comes to features that you WISH lj would add but doesn't)

They've split the friends list into a subscriptions/reading list and a trusted/access list too \o/
Gah. No. I've moved elsewhere and come back once already. Not moving anywhere again. If LJ goes boom, I'll go with it, I guess, and put fic up at the black hole that is my website. :)
