OMG this took ages D:

red_lasbelin: Books that you wish would be made into movies
TBH, I my favorite movie treatments are of books where I don't remember much or I'm not very close to the source material - so I don't go all !!! when everything gets adapted for the big screen. I've come to realise I'd much rather see mini-series for favorite novels instead. Anyway, in no particular order:
  • Hero by Perry Moore

  • Codex Alera series

  • The Sangreal Trilogy

  • Temeraire series

  • Thursday Next series (books #1 - #4)

*_* - That one H/D fanart from theband has been a favorite of mine since highschool. <3
It's surprising but sometimes its the kisses where the facial features are partially hidden that end up being the most evocative :3

are you still doing these or are you done? i'm just getting into k-dramas (have only seen one...Boys over flowers) and wanted to know your top 5 dramas of ALL TIME. it's fine if you're not doing it anymore...

thanks for the recs here. <3
Actually I'd posted some recs that include far eastern dramas at the end :) Autumn Concerto also surprised me :D
Although that wasn't my question hooray for Natsume and Cross Game in your favorite anime list. :)
Natsume's been there a long time ^_^ CG aired very recently but was such a class act that it's a great example of what sports anime is about (the development ofcharacters and relationships)
Yes to the Temeraire series to be made into movies. Actually, I heard that Peter Jackson is turning it into a mini series. I'm keeping my fingers cross that it's true.

And I watched Summer Wars recently. My eyes were *_________*
Oooh, that'd be brilliant *_*

It was such a fun film! I didn't think I'd have watched it as often as I have, even sometimes just playing it in the background and going "KOI KOI!"

*facepalms*
The movie touched me so much because I can relate to the family, the cousins, aunts, uncles and the gatherings. It's like how my family are when we're all together. Of course, the CG was sweet and I love the 'koi koi!' as well.
# Yukino (Kare Kano)

# Tamaki (Ouran High School Host Club)

# Kyoko (Skip Beat)

-those ones I know. Kare Kano was my very first manga actually. Yukino is so... realistic. She's one of the best characters I've ever read in manga, I think.

Tamaki is just, always failing XD

And Skip Beat, well, I sadly stopped reading it half way through. (Started, stopped becuase I had to focus on other things, lost my place, and was too intimidated to find it because that manga is so big.)

John William Waterhouse, I know him. He's an amazing artist. Very whimsical. [got a poster]

And I've had shawarma. Only once. But it so good. Its like the hamburger of the middle east XD
I love the artists that you picked for my question. I could spend hours looking at Wei Chen's work, in particular. There's so much gorgeous work there.
