In memory of

Anjali Pai | anjenue | rosesanguina

I didn't know her except through her fics - she was one of the few authors who wrote both Harry/Draco as well as Severus/Draco. Being Draco on the_leaky put her on a pedestal in my mind. She was south asian, like me which was so rare. Brilliantly talented, fun and even though she, like many others had moved fandoms, she was still cool in my books.

Personally, she's the third person of note to die before their time this year and the second person in a car accident. She was the same age as my sister and the fact that I drive on I-35 daily and my sis is very close to Plano...it's freaky and just awful news.

My prayers are with her family and friends.
