Bad habits

[001] Confession Time: there have been moments in my life where I've actually gone, "kyaaaaa!" and "gyabbo!" - the latter actually just happened last month and I blame Nodame Cantabille D: Though I imagine y'all have had embarassing words from fandom slip into dialogue right? RIGHT? *hides under rock*

[002] When the deviantART logo changes, I hope they go with something like this one or at the very least, this

[003] I'm watching Samurai 7 'cause Romi Paku voices one of the characters and the anime isn't half bad :) Though the steampunk aspect takes a bit of getting used to - seeing samurai and then big robots in the same scene keeps making me go o_O every now and then.

[004] Have also been looking for SasuNaru fanfics of decent quality and testing a few shoujo mangas. Shoujo is always a difficult thing, since most female protagonists are incredibly...generic. That does apply to yaoi too, but I burnt out on the het!fics after overdosing in middleschool and highschool on trashy bodice ripper novels.

The only exceptions for het seems to be far east asian stuff like the dramas et all and a random TV show or two (Morganna from Merlin, Chloe from Smallville, Faith from BtVS). Otherwise...*happily dons slash reading goggles*
xD The only words I've ever really used have been 'hai' and 'ne', in the veryvery beginning of my anime-watching I MIGHT have used 'baka' a couple times, but I stopped.

ROMI PAKU! \o/ I have very few seiryuu I actually LOVE, she is one and another is Akira Ishida ♥♥♥♥ that man.

As far as SasuNaru goes, ANYTHING by bittkitt is AWESOME. I LOVE her fics, more so because she creatively and cleverly interjects British slang, but it works SO well and she really does such a great job. Any time she comes out with something new for the Naruto fandom I literally squeal with delight.

Babe, I can safely assure you that you are not the only one. I've lost count how many times I've said, 'Kyaa!' or 'Bwuh?' in real life. My most recent one is using 'Chorisu!' as a greeting.

I never did completed Samurai 7. I do love it for its beautiful animation and yes, for Paku Romi in it. I need to finish it someday. >.>;
I loved Samurai 7. I bought the box set as soon as it came out. It was nice to see an original take on such a classic story.
I think I once said 'kawai', because my sister says it all the time. I was so embarrassed, even if no one was there!

Ooo, do you know when they are officially going to change the logo?

I'm watching Ikemen Idol and it's so corny and cliche, but I can't stop watching o.o
This surprised me. :D I usually use so many fandom words in my speech to the extent my parents and friends have already gotten used to it. You see, sometimes it's just easy to say 'kawaii ne' instead of trying to think of smth else. I think it's totally ok as long as you're not trying to use it while talking to some higher-ups etc :D
[001] I used to say many many many fandom words heheh >:SSS

[004] Any SasuNaru recs you'd like to share? :D

I'm guilty of swearing in japanese.
My vot's on the second logo you posted!
When I watch Samurai 7 I just want to glomp Heihachi! *Muah* Hachi-chan! Have you watched Kurosawa's Seven Samurai of which the anime was based? Totally different! I loved it though, Kiku's even better in the film.
I always have trouble finding sasunaru fics that don't focus on mPreg or is totally AU.
The only shojos I have been able to get myself to read have been Fruits Basket, Eerie Queerie, and NANA. Mangas like Peach Girl have been done over and over again.
But you should read the yaoi Animal X. (Scanlated by DokiDoki which is now a dead group.) It's not like anything else you'll read in manga and the art's not very impressive but it's quite original. Masara Minase is the prefect example in generic yaoi but the art is so beautiful that I can forgive the 'rinsed and re-used' plots.
